ArdaTuran is an off and on player in terms of appearances with Barcelona as the Turkish midfielder is a regular starter in the team of Luis Enrique but the 30 year old player is not a consistent starter as there are many matches where he has to spend time on the sidelines before actually getting into the pitch.

Turan is not a key figure in the team of Luis Enrique, he does play an important role but the Turkish player is not as influential or significant as Lionel Messi or other high-profile players of Barcelona and this is why ArdaTuran is currently serving a substitute role in Camp Nou.

Even though Turan has to spend time on the sidelines on a regular basis, he has no intentions of leaving Barcelona anytime soon as this was confirmed by the Turkish player himself as he unveiled details concerning his future in a recent interview as ArdaTuran shut down rumors and claims of him joining another club.

“I am very happy at Barcelona. I have a contract until 33 years. I want to end my contract here,” he said during the All Star basketball held in Turkey at the start of the week.I am playing in the team where the best in the world play. I am trying to be an important part of the team. I think I have had success with this.” Barcelona’s ArdaTuran said.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are some of the clubs that have been rumored to be interested in signing ArdaTuran but from the looks of it, he will not be moving away from Barcelona anytime soon.
